WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a CT Radiographer you will maintain a smooth operational and productive workflow while providing a full range of comprehensive diagnostic imaging and treatment services, working closely with other medical and surgical staff, in a state-of-the-art, all digital PACS environment. Demonstrate leadership, clinical competence and responsiveness while ensuring patient safety in performance of all job functions. You must be able and willing to respond effectively to patient care emergencies. You must be committed to excellence in image and data quality and you must demonstrate outstanding customer service skills. Perform a variety of routine and specialized technical procedures with limited supervision. Schedules examinations in accordance with CT protocols and procedures. Maintains a smooth operational and productive workflow. Clinical Practice/Patient Care - Operates the Tomography Imaging equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures according to the Diagnostic Imaging Department’s P&P manual.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology; registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; licensed by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient population(s) served. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his or her population-specific and age specific needs
