Summary: The Inpatient ClinicalApplications Director provides leadership to the ongoing development andimplementation of the enterprise-wide, integrated electronic health recordplatform that supports quality patient care across all the communitiesthat Cook Children's Health Care System (CCHCS) serves. Leads theimplementation of EpicInpatient Clinical products. Oversees the replacement ofall Inpatient Clinical applications (including associated third partyapplications). Accountable for the success of the Inpatient Clinicalimplementation and the operations and sunset of legacy systems; manage allvendors. Partners with Inpatient Physicians, Inpatient Nursing,Inpatient Pharmacy and other Clinical and Business Units to ensure thatapplication development and deployment is performed in an efficient, costeffective and technically sound manner while meeting the needs and goals of theorganization. Builds and directs the Inpatient Clinical ApplicationsTeams and provides guidance to the project team through the design, build,implementation and maintenance phases of the revenue cycle replacement program;ensure a common vision, plan and goal are maintained across all areas of theproject.
Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare or businessrequired.
Master's degree preferred.
Registered Nurse required.
5+ years of experience in a management or director levelrole.
Ability to demonstrate strong leadership within matrixteams.
