AdventHealth Orlando seeks to hire PI Consultant who will embrace our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.

The PI Consultant leads the organization in the promotion and execution of performance improvement projects that drive strategic, operational, and departmental opportunities. The PI Consultant typically is involved with the strategic planning and implementation of performance improvement projects. The PI Consultant uses the tools and methods appropriate to the project objectives and communicates any barriers to success to the appropriate parties. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Above average analytical, problem solving, and customer service skills
Above average written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional planning, management, and organizational skills (Preferred)
Knowledge of PI/business process redesign concepts and tools such as lean and six sigma (Preferred)
Ability to coordinate complex projects independently (Preferred)
Knowledge of new trends in health care delivery and operational systems (Preferred)
Ability to translate customer concerns or needs into specific process requirements (Preferred)
Mastery of MS Office (including MS Project) and other office automation tools (Preferred)
Bachelor's degree in a business discipline or healthcare-related field
3 years of healthcare experience
Master's degree in related field (e.g., MBA, MHA, MPH or MSN) (Preferred)
5-7 years of healthcare project management experience. (Preferred)
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:
Certification in a quality improvement methodology/toolset such as Lean, Six Sigma, Change Management, IHI Model for Improvement, etc. (Preferred)
Current active State of Florida license as a Registered Nurse (Preferred)

Selects and applies proper PI tools for the project. Follows the DMAIC process to make decisions based upon available data, knowledge of the business and customer needs.
Develops and deploys plans to ensure project sustainability and/or continued progress towards goals. Follows up with project sponsor and operational owner to address any concerns with sustainability.
Transfers knowledge to people at all levels in the organization. Engages in assigned PI training opportunities.
Achieves stated training goals, demonstrates advanced understanding of project-specific concepts and continuously seeks out and shares best practices with team members and stakeholders.
