The Australian business has long been an important part of the global strategy and is an active and successful market participant. On the back of growth and expansion of the company's private funds group, an opportunity has arisen for a newly created Associate role. This role will provide project management to the company's real estate funds and fund-raising activities with investors including general strategy, developing marketing materials, coordinating investor meetings, call and requests.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Responsible for supporting all aspects of the fundraising process including investor due diligence, financial analysis, preparation of marketing documents and tracking investor activity.
Create and update general and fund-specific marketing materials, such as offering memorandums, investor presentations, fact sheets and other documents related to private investment fundraises
Respond to investor information requests, such as RFPs and due diligence questionnaires
Create post-fundraising marketing and communication materials and assist in the organization of investor relations initiatives
Produce internal talking points and briefing documents
Conduct alternative asset industry research (both qualitative and quantitative)
Update consultant and industry databases
Coordinate road shows, conferences and investor meetings and calls
Support the global client relationship management team as needed
To succeed in your application:
You will likely have 2-5 years of prior work experience obtained from either a high-end Funds Management or Investment Firm (real estate or alternative funds desirable but not a prerequisite). You will be confident of your project coordination skills, have strong written skills and have a high level of comfort with all Microsoft packages. You will have both analytical and quantitative skills and be comfortable with financial and investment concepts. Strong tertiary academic performance is expected (business, finance or real estate), as is a passion for investment management.
