We are enhancing our Futures execution platform and offer the opportunity to take responsibility for reviewing, analysing and evaluating business systems and user needs. This will include documenting requirements, defining project scope and objectives and formulating systems to parallel overall business strategies. You will also lead daily scrum meetings.
You will be constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities and writing specifications. You will also be delivering against requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements, forming / establishing project teams and monitoring project progress.
You will have excellent core Business Analyst skills, including an understanding of Agile concepts and strong stakeholder management skills. Your experience will include applying your skills within a financial service organisation; and will ideally include detailed knowledge of Execution Management Systems, Order Management Systems & post trade data processing / regulatory reporting, specifically for Futures.
You will be comfortable understanding database schemas, querying (Sybase) and analysing order/trade data, including interpreting FIX and XML messages. You will also have experience of vendor systems, e.g. Fidessa and Bloomberg, as well as inhouse built systems (built using Java).
