Your role Do you like working in a very dynamic, fast moving environment? Are you a software architect with experience as a full stack developer and as a 3rd party product integrator who is passionate about building and maintaining a robust and reliable application landscape?
We are looking for someone like you helping us in:
defining the software architecture based on business requirements factoring in both the UBS enterprise architecture as well as the architecture and design of 3rd party product
designing, developing, integrating, deploying and maintaining applications using frontend and backend technologies
developing subject matter expertise (SME) on the applications, environments and underlying business processes
taking ownership of the applications and respective services, managing and/or supporting all service lifecycle phases, based on ITIL industry standard
ensuring that applications are and remain compliant to UBS enterprise requirements and standard, managing audit and risk assessments and their remediation
supporting the project manager in planning and running the projects, ensuring that business requirements are met
Your team You'll be working in the Investigations IT delivery team in Switzerland. We are a dynamic and growing team based primarily in Zurich Altstetten but are spread over a number of smaller locations in Zurich and globally. We deliver technology solutions to Group Investigations using state of the art software both from major vendors in the field and in-house developments. The Investigations area is a hot bed for new technology. In the current environment, we are working on projects in areas such as eDiscovery, Analytics as well as automation of Investigations processes.
Your experience and skills
university degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering or a related field
experience in holding a senior IT role within a complex organization in the financial services domain
hands-on experience spanning all layers of technology, including:
modern web development, backend development (Java/J2EE, C#/.Net)
database design concepts and Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL) product specifics
Shell scripting and ETL tools (e.g. Informatica) as well as BI tools such as Tableau
IT Security (authentication, authorization, cryptography, certificate management, ...)
a thorough understanding of all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle combined with strong experience in working with vendors and 3rd party products
strong analytical and problem solving skills
a proactive and independent work style, excellent organizational and time-management skills
high level of drive and commitment, flexibility to undertake a variety of assignments
experience in eDiscovery and Data Analytics as a plus
known for a can-do approach when tackling very difficult tasks
process oriented with a structured approach to ensure delivery in time
willing to perform administrative tasks and processes as well
fluent in English with German being an advantage
