Major Responsibilities: - Deploy and Support FabGuard Software Platform (Primary focus on Fault Detection and Classification) on semiconductor manufacturing equipment toolsets.
- Create recipes and data analysis of tool based sensors (data), INFICON sensors and the customers sensors for the purposes of Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) using FabGuard.
- Provide installation and application support of INFICON sensors, FabGuard Controllers (computers) and Leak Detectors.
- Provide written and oral feedback to the customer on applications work including process troubleshooting, recipe development, and advanced analysis techniques.
- Provide written and oral feedback to Account Manager on weekly activities, customer requests, needs and requirements.
- Provide onsite training on INFICON products including FabGuard FDC software, INFICON hardware usage and basic troubleshooting.
Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science degree in (Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related sciences) with 5 years work experience
- Solid understanding of Semiconductor Processes and OEM tools including Etch, Thin Films, and Diffusion. Broad understanding of ALD, Etch and PVD is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both external and internal customer relationships.
- Ability to adapt to various field situations and to foster strong relationships with internal and external customers.
- Fault Detection and Classification (FDC), Computer Networking and Factory Automation, is required. Residual Gas Analysis (RGA), Run to Run Control and Statistical Process Control experience is desirable.
- Requires strong Analytical Skills and Critical Thinking to Solve Complex Problems
- Requires strong organizational and computer skills.
- Ability to travel (approximately 10-15%).
