Chapin Hall is seeking an onsite/remote, full-time, highly motivated individual for the position of Financial Systems Support Analyst, reporting to the Director of Financial Operations. This role will ensure that Chapin Hall leverages, develops, and maintains the financial and project management business systems including the Deltek Enterprise that consists of Deltek’s Costpoint, Time & Expense (T&E), and Cognos. The primary focus of this hands-on, onsite/remote role will be supporting Costpoint, T&E, and Cognos.
The primary responsibilities of the position are as follows:
Act as the business systems’ subject matter expert on Deltek’s Costpoint, T&E and supporting modules, systems, and tools.
Support existing Cognos reports and dashboards; create new reports as required.
Set up new users, distribute log-in information, and adjust settings for other users where appropriate.
Conduct initial project set-up at contract award stage; establish and communicate a clear and efficient process; enter budget data and make necessary adjustments, and set-up billing for projects.
Monitor time-keeping system and support the timely submission of timesheets including reviewing time entry data for errors and making corrections as necessary, processing timesheets in Deltek T&E, and transmitting files to Costpoint.
Meet with report requestors to document their needs and provide solutions.
Monitor all Deltek Enterprise scheduled activities, troubleshoot any issues encountered.
Provide friendly, timely and succinct service/support to internal end users including training and support on core functionality, creating (where needed) and updating of manuals, monitoring helpdesk tickets, and documenting process and procedures.
Prepare and maintain documentation, including requirements, specifications, process flow, and procedures.
Provide expertise and assistance ensuring all processes meet audit and security requirements.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree required. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience & Other Qualifications
3+ years relevant experience supporting business systems applications; experience with Costpoint, T&E, other Deltek modules, and Cognos preferred
Demonstrated ability to apply systems knowledge while supporting business needs.
Experience designing configuration, mapping data and supporting integrated ERP solutions.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of problems, analyze facts, draw conclusions, suggest solutions, and work autonomously, or with others ensuring successful resolution.
Ability to plan and manage multiple, concurrent tasks, projects, and deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed written instructions and documentation.
Strong sense of teamwork and customer service orientation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced skills with the Microsoft Office Suite required including strong Excel skills.
Superb analytical and critical thinking skills.
Flexibility with the ability to adapt to change.
Experience working in an office environment.
Demonstrated judgment and discretion in the sharing of sensitive information.
