The Role: The eWindow Relationship Manager - EMEA (RM) will play a key role in building the eWindow community. This will involve finding new prospective customers, introducing the key benefits of eWindow to them, understanding customer needs, assisting in the development and launching of innovative and meaningful new products that meet the requirements of the Energy and commodity trading community in Europe.
The Impact: eWindow was first launched in Singapore in 2007, expanding to Europe in 2008 and the Americas in 2009. The eWindow team play a crucial role in facilitating the assessment of over 50 oil and commodity markets around the world, supporting the needs of over 1,300 traders.

The Team / The Business: The successful candidate will be part of the Global Trading Services, a small, dynamic global team within Platts. This position work closely with the EMEA team based in London and will report directly to the Director Global markets.

Increase the eWindow user count. Provide introduction to eWindow, demonstrating the system and benefits, addressing issues and administrating the onboarding process. Engage regularly with customers (Traders/Credit/Compliance teams) to ensure clear understanding of eWindow, and to seek ideas to drive revenue.
Manage the project for each new market launched by developing client relationships and planning, marketing and executing the launch to a timeline. This includes planning of engagements, development timelines, demonstrating functionality and training
Learn and understand customers' workflows and monitor market trends that affect their trading activities
Liaise with internal and external partners on new market launches and functionality developments ensuring instruments or new functionalities are configured and delivered in a timely manner. Help to co-ordinate resources and project milestones to monitor launch schedules and ensure critical path items are met.
Be the project leader and liaise with internal groups on all operational projects including updating CRM tools, unifying processes, refining user lists in Oracle Sales Database, and any other new projects that come up.
Work closely with the regional Operations Manager and global operations team in providing operational support and documentation for eWindow use by colleagues and clients.
Collaborate with local and regional teams on market launches or projects where required, and also operationally with administrative or Market on close support when the need arises.
Prepare and present (via powerpoint) eWindow educational content to new users. Audience size can vary from one to twenty+, in person or via webex.
Proven working experience in the use of derivative products to value exposure and manage against the risk of volatile commodity prices.
Strong understanding of how commodity markets and price reporting agencies work.
In-depth knowledge of functioning dynamics of the energy industry and commodity trading fundamentals, including physical trading and derivative instruments.
Capable of self-motivation for execution of solo projects as well as working closely with the team and wider Platts community on group projects.
Efficient, analytical approach to processing events and problem solving in a fast moving trading environment.
Excellent communication, presentation and networking skills
Travelling required at least once a month
