Manage all activities associated with proctored exams for online degree programs and state authorization in BUs Office of Distance Education. Coordinate over 1,000 proctored 6 times a year in collaboration with online faculty. Communicate with students about final exam rules and technology requirements. Review, implement, and take ownership of operational policies and procedures of the proctored examination process. Manage all aspects of compliancy with state authorization rules. Maintain records related to Boston Universitys adherence to state and federal regulations, as required by U.S. Department of Education. The Exam and Compliance Manager must exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions regarding the management of all proctored examination procedures. This position also requires compliance with university student confidentiality practices. This position will split their time between the administration and review of proctored exams and managing BUs compliance with state authorization policies.
B.A./B.S., advanced analytical, communication, and project management skills, discretion and independent decision making in managing proctored examination procedures and complying with university confidentiality practices involving students, the ability to work/act independently, excellent organizational skills and strong attention-to-detail, and three years of work experience required. Must be available on-call on the Saturday of every exam period. Please note that applications without a cover letter will not be considered.
