The Energy Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in supporting our purpose to create an exceptional customer experience by servicing our customers’ needs. The position is responsible for the sale of our products and services to construction and contractor establishments or individuals over the telephone and in the office. The successful candidate will work closely with our energy team, account managers and sales support team to develop and deliver customer services that promote and support our products. The Energy Customer Service Representative promotes our culture, our values and 5 P’s and our purpose to create an exceptional customer experience by transforming what a distributor can do.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Sales of Solar PV Modules, Racking, Inverters, & BOS related product, including building materials and other electrical products.
Manage both inbound and outbound sales communication both internally and externally
Assist customers with product selection and application
Coordinate the delivery of quotes and proposals across multiple business units including energy, switchgear, and building materials.
Develop project quotations, proposals and order entry
Responsible for oversight of sales of products to include purchasing from vendors, resolve customer problems, ensure delivery of order, etc
Other duties as assigned by Energy leadership

Ability to lead by example with a positive work ethic and attitude
Knowledge of solar or electrical products strongly preferred
3-5 years’ experience preferred
Minimum 2-year degree or equivalent customer experience required
NABCEP Certification, or equivalent experience preferred
Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Power Point are essential
