Contributes to the fulfillment of the Centura Health Mission and Vision by planning, designing, implementing and
maintaining programs, policies and management systems of the overall operations of assigned Centura Health Physician
Group (CHPG) clinic sites. Serves as a role model for ethical management behavior and promotes an awareness and
understanding of positive ethical and moral principles consistent with the Mission and Values of Centura Health. Reports
directly to the Administrator, Primary Care or Administrator, Specialty Care. Works collaboratively with management within
CHPG, as well as across all Centura Health, to achieve system objectives. This role has contact with community groups, third
party payors, agencies, vendors, other health care organizations and other interested parties. Responsible for planning,
organizing, implementing and maintaining strategies and initiatives in the following key areas: Clinic Operations - Provides
leadership and oversight for the development, integration, coordination and ongoing support for the delivery of health
services in an integrated fashion through the management, direction and supervision of the clinic. Operations may include
human resources, policies and procedures, finance and budgeting, purchasing/materials management, legal/risk
management, property management, customer service, billing and central business office functions, and information
systems (IS). Clinic Staffing - Responsible for the development, integration, coordination and ongoing support for the quality
of clinic staff through effective screening processes, innovative training programs, and maintenance of customer services
standards. Responsible for staff in all areas of the clinic. Contributes to the fulfillment of the Centura Health Mission and
Vision by providing administrative leadership for clinic-wide operations, optimizing performance across all Centura Health
Physician Group operating entities, sites of service and systems of care. Working collaboratively with the other Clinic and
System leaders, this individual will execute strategy and direct the organization and delivery of care, while assuring effective
and efficient operating performance. This individual will work collaboratively with members of the CHPG executive
leadership team and senior management to design and implement operational strategies and tactics to achieve
organizational goals. Serves as a patient advocate as well as a role model for ethical management behavior and promotes
and awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles consistent with the Mission, Vision, and Values of
Centura Health. This position provides general direction, technical assistance and support to all elements of the Centura
Health Physician Group in planning and implementation for areas of responsibility. The incumbent has contact with
community groups, agencies, other health care organizations and other interested parties. The incumbent is responsible for
planning, organizing, implementing and maintaining strategies and initiatives for effective and efficient delivery of care
within CHPG. This position works collaboratively with medical staff, community leaders, agencies and payors to carry out
the goals and objectives outlined in the strategic plan. A key role of this position is to build strong relationships with
physicians and employees for Centura Health Physician Group and to achieve high levels of patientand customer satisfaction.
