Looking toward the next decade, Grameen America will launch a new $100M campaign to support our plans to double our footprint across the U.S. Grameen America is seeking a dynamic individual to fill a Development Manager, Corporate Partnerships role to help raise the funds for this national expansion. The Development Manager, Corporate Partnerships will join the Development Department to help raise funds that support the work, mission and fundraising goals of Grameen America. Reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships and Engagement, the primary role of this position is to manage, engage and support the expansion of Grameen America’s portfolio of corporate donors. This position requires exceptional communications and grant writing skills, event and project management experience, high attention to detail, ability to learn quickly on the job, and strong interpersonal skills for working with corporate funders. The candidate should possess excellent writing and communications skills, have the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects independently, and be able to take initiative as well as work as part of a cohesive development team. Key Responsibilities: Under the guidance of the Senior Director, Corporate Partnerships and Engagement: Strategic Partnership Support - Support the management of key corporate prospects and current donors, through the construction of a pipeline of desirable prospects and development of company-specific approach plans, which could include philanthropic/foundation grants, cause marketing, workplace giving, and employee engagement, that reflect corporate partners’ marketing and business needs, as well as philanthropic and community engagement goals
- Manage corporate grant proposal, application and reporting process, including proposal writing, budget creation and modification, impact and financial reporting
- Assist in pitching and securing new partners, including supporting the Senior Director in research, securing meetings, developing pitch materials, and prospect stewardship
- Plan and execute specials events and assist in site visits
- Manage frequency of outreach, communication and personal contact to ensure the successful stewardship and engagement of corporate relationships
- Under direction of the Senior Director, work closely with Development, Marketing & Communications, Programs and Operations, and other Grameen America departments to leverage all company assets in an effort to initiate innovative ideas and maximize opportunities to ensure partnership benefits and support are in alignment across the organization
- Document and maintain clear and timely records to track corporate benefits packages, donor giving, grant proposal and reporting deadlines, contacts, notes, and assist in the maintenance of an accurate database and corporate benefits matrix
- Collaborate with with Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships and Marketing and Communications team to support the creation and implementation of multi-channel communications strategy to amplify the impact of corporate partnerships, and assist with marketing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data to report to corporate partners
- Support the Senior Director in the negotiation of agreement terms and development of contracts as needed
General Development Team Support - Work closely with the development team to plan, manage and execute prospect and donor cultivation and engagement events across the U.S.
- Contribute toward the implementation of the Development team’s strategic plans as required and assigned including prospect research, pitch material creation and grant writing and reporting
