The Global Development team is responsible for all deal management work pertaining to Hana's global expansion. As Global Head of Real Estate Partnerships, you will manage the joint-venture partnership portfolio for all regions by ensuring a healthy and robust pipeline for expansion in the right markets, timely deal conversion, advantageous partnership terms, successful partnership negotiations and overall portfolio management. Your responsibilities will include and are not limited to:
Sourcing leads for all commercial real estate partnerships within all designated markets, build and maintain relationships with brokers, and inform real estate & deal strategy by keeping a pulse on market and submarket demand.
Work directly with Business Development team to support term sheet and lead joint-venture negotiations.
Conferring with stakeholders, including construction and design, building operations, and finance to ensure each departments' needs are met throughout the joint-venture transaction.
Facilitating timely deal conversion, advantageous deal terms, successful term negotiation, project management and overall joint-venture portfolio relationship management.
Contributing to and oversee investment committee presentations.
Facilitating all actions required for the professional management of global joint-venture portfolio.
Train and educate deal managers in term sheet and joint-venture negotiations.
Create and facilitate processes that ensure all business needs are met in the most efficient manner.

You will be the company subject matter expert in institutional real estate partnerships (sales, leasing, knowledge of how a building operates and how a joint-venture works).
You will successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.

You will be more of a player coach for our Global Business Development team.

Your responsibility will span across new deals and Development for Hana.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain deal flow and ensuring end-to-end deal management for deals alongside the Global Business Development team.
Timely deal conversion, advantageous deal terms and successful joint-venture negotiations and managing process.
Determine market growth strategy and ensuring healthy pipeline of commercial real estate well-suited for Hana.
Contribute to growth strategy, expansion planning and new market entry.
Manage and develop direct reports to achieve team goals.
Acting as a proxy for Global Development Head in meetings if necessary.
Manage and train the regional deal managers.
Maintain strategic alignment with regional real estate and development/broker teams, which includes attendance at all required global development meetings and strategic events.
Deal sourcing for both on, and off-market deals through aggressive relationship building with brokers and landlords.
Knowledge of all leasing and subleasing activity in designated markets.
Evaluation of potential locations to determine suitability for Hana.
Maintaining a robust pipeline in designated markets.
Systematically aggregating and synthesizing large amounts of information by activating strategic entrepreneurial strategies.
Provides formal supervision to individual employees within multiple functional and operational areas. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for multiple staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

12 or more years of relevant work experience
Extensive background in and strong understanding of commercial real estate acquisitions and brokerage.
Breadth of knowledge and experience in end-to-end deal negotiation and real estate portfolio management
Knowledge of major urban markets.
