The CRM Technical Architect will serve in an essential role on the CRMArchitecture team, responsible for ensuring an integrated and optimized CRM solution and for managing the CRM platform(s) and related applications. The Technical Architect will provide technical support and guidance and facilitate problem identification and solutions. The Technical Architect will establish and refine guidelines and standards for the CRM platform(s), new campus applications, and related services. The Technical Architect will design and create the underlying data structure and data flows to support application building and the overarching application portfolio, managing this portfolio with input from functional leaders, ITS, and external vendors. The Technical Architect, in partnership with the CRM Developer, will work closely with functional leaders, organizational business units, and subject matter experts to design and create application architecture and develop solutions that achieve stakeholder's objectives, translating business requirements into systems, services, and solutions. The Technical Architect will partner with the following units: Admissions (Undergraduate, Graduate, Virtual Campus), Advancement, Marketing and Communications, Athletics, Academic Advising, Academic Units, Student Development, Financial Services, Career Services, Global Engagement, Library, and School-Based Units for Admissions and Advancement. Gonzaga expects that the CRM Technical Architect will create detailed system documentation related to the CRM solution's architecture, aligned with guidelines from Gonzaga Information Technology Services (ITS). Please note that the Gonzaga's CRM solution referenced above implies that Gonzaga may choose to employ more than one CRM software.
5-7 years of experience in CRM system implementation or CRM technical consulting.
3 years of experience in data management and data architecture.
Extensive experience with major CRM platforms.
Strong knowledge of application development, database design, systems implementation and crafting technical solutions to complex business needs.
Advanced knowledge of integrating CRM with 3rd party systems using web services and other applications.
Ability to rapidly adapt to changing business requirements and to efficiently acquire and utilize new skills in response to such change. Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on CRM and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.
Experience in the design and/or use of Web Service Calls and API's (REST, SOAP, XML, SF App Exchanges, etc).
Strong data management abilities.
