The Business and Control Associate Banker will support all compliance requirements for all client relationships by working with Private Bankers to review, complete and update key client information. The role works closely with clients and Private Bankers to provide a high level of administrative support to assist with meeting regulatory requirements. Solid knowledge of bank products and regulatory requirements are required.

Support Compliance requirements for existing client relationships by working with Private Bankers to review, complete and update key client information during periodic reviews. This includes reviewing the following: Client Profiles, Source of Wealth, Financial Information, Net Worth, Member Monitoring, Enhanced Due Diligence, and Senior Public Figures (which potentially impact a client's risk level), to appropriately prepare a Banker to validate the information, prepare a call memo and attest to the completion of the Periodic Review.
Update financials with existing data on file, correcting inconsistencies, entering retail call memos, identifying member deficiencies, resolving (Anticipated Activity Monitoring) AAM breaks and creating/updating AAMs.
Accurately review and update (Anticipated Activity Monitoring) AAMs identified during the Periodic Review process and provide guidance to the Banker Teams about AAM guidelines that will result in reduced error submissions.
Gather and analyse client data and generate reports for the Banker team to finalize their periodic reviews.
Revise processes and procedures to improve current workflow in regards to periodic reviews
Support the Banking Teams with miscellaneous compliance and audit preparation tasks in an effort to assist with the regional volume of these activities and help Bankers Teams remain focused on sales goals.
Escalate situations, as appropriate, to Business Management, Risk and Compliance Officers.
Become a compliance knowledge point of contact for the Banker Team.
Work with Technology to identify system limitations and possible resolution
Assist the UK LFG management team with various administrative and marketing tasks and ad hoc projects as required.
The role provides an excellent opportunity to work with Law Firm Group clients and gain a goof understanding of the compliance processes within the business. This allows for personal progression in the understanding of regulatory requirements, products, relationship management and sales process roles.
Proven experience working in a servicing role within the Financial Services sector (Private Banking/Wealth management experience preferred).
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of all CPB banking systems, platforms and capabilities.
Proven experience in a front office environment dealing directly with clients.
Understanding of bank regulatory and compliance requirements.
Pro-active, initiative and driven.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, in multiple languages as required.
Excellent relationship building skills (with clients, and across hierarchical levels and other functions).
Ability to cope with ambiguity and change - high adaptability.
Ability to challenge status quo and continuously optimize processes and tasks in own area of responsibility.
FSA Registered or applicable qualifications.
Ability to establish relationships and partner effectively with various groups including sales, service, operations, compliance, and marketing.

Strong analytical, organisational, and project management skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point a plus.
The role is a 'Controlled function' CF as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011.
