The purpose of this position is to manage the project management work within Corporate Security. This position receives project notifications from Real Estate, inner department, and external business units. This individual assign and manages project managers for new space build-outs, current site remediation work, and company restacks ensuring that the physical security devices (access control and CCTV) are designed in accordance with departmental and company policy. Additionally, this individual scrutinizes statements of work to ensure the cost is in congruence with the work being performed and that the work is performed in accordance with departmental standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans, develops and manages the corporate physical security program under senior management direction as it relates to design and implementation of physical access control design. Responsible for the development of an efficient and safe operation of the organization's physical security operations. Manage the development and implementation of access and perimeter control operational procedures, conveying and verifying security requirements. Managers the loss prevention and detection service and enforces administrative procedures.
Tracks projects, timelines, installations, and invoices to ensure projects are implemented on-time and within budget. Communicates thoroughly with internal and external customers to ensure that all parties are aware of the status of the project and deliverables.
Monitors performance and assignments of vendors and makes sporadic inspections to ensure they are properly equipped, trained and fulfilling their duties in compliance with organization policies. Directs personnel responsible for electronic and physical security system design and project management, evaluates performance, and develops process and procedures to minimize risks. Manages the activities and provides leadership direction to the professional, technical and support staff within the organization unit. Manages the development and enhancements of security inspections procedures to prevent safety hazards, and ensures the proper procedures are followed.
Acts as liaison to field operations in the area of design and implementation of physical security systems. Identifies and recommends electronic access control equipment designed to detect unauthorized entry into facilities or property.
Reviews Statements of Work (SOWs) that are received from Security Integrators and verifies that the work involved, price, and labor are within the scope of what was requested. Negotiates with the Security Integrator to obtain the lowest price.

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.
Manages 3rd party project delivery resources/team. Responsible for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating team members.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University in a technical area of study. Minimum four years of related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Knowledge in MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices.
