Serving as the lead for the Nemours HRIS Team, the HRIS Manager will be the technical liaison to departments such as Information Services, Finance & Payroll.Responsible for managing the implementation, coordination and maintenance of Workday, Lawson and other HRIS systems within Human Resources.Acts as a project manager, technical team member and collaborative team leader with our operational partners to drive change and implement best practices that impact the Human Resource (HR) function.
Manage and oversee current and new development for the HRIS systems.
Acts as a project manager, technical team member and collaborative team leader with our operational partners to identify needs, implement new technologies, and troubleshoot issues.
Work with payroll to implement functionality that would enhance the interfacing of employee information (e.g., deduction amounts) with the General Ledger and Accounts Payable. Assist Payroll with troubleshooting HR/Payroll system issues.
Organizes testing of new functionality. Reviews and tests upgrades to determine the functionality associated with each change and appropriate implementation schedules.
Assumes system support for all HR-related concerns.
Ensure adherence to all Nemours and Human Resource policies through HRIS activities, transactions or reports.
Manages the reporting and accuracy of HR data.
Manages system security. Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee’s supervisor.
Reviews impending business issues that will have a direct impact on the HRIS and provides management with an assessment of the impact, scheduling considerations, and other information required for a complete business case.
Manages and guides all uploads and downloads of information in the HRIS.
Responds to requests for management reports that provide information from the HRIS by developing useful tools for this purpose.
Maintains a high degree of awareness to new releases, updates, service packs/patches required by the HRIS and partners with IS to test and install such items.
Develops and presents HRIS training to end users, partnering with IS and external vendors, as needed
Required Performance Skills:
HRIS Business Acumen
Bachelor's degree required. Work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Minimum of five (5) years' HRIS management experience required; Healthcare experience preferred.
