SUMMARY We are working with a growing, US manufacturer of highly specialized products and components specific to the medical, security, and research industries to identify a Test Engineer.
Known for its cutting-edge research and innovative developments, our confidential client has emerged as a world-leader in imaging and detection technologies. Located in Cranberry Township, PA, this company offers an expanding product line and growing business model.
This role requires a strong technical and engineering background. In support of research and new product development, the Test Engineer will actively participate in the build and testing of radiation detection systems. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of analog and digital electronics.

RESPONSIBILITIES • Write documentation for proper use of photon detection systems. • Support photon detector technology development by collecting and analyzing data. • Actively partake in the creation and testing of photon detection systems. • Debug and troubleshooting support for existing systems.
REQUIRED SKILLS • Working knowledge of analog and digital electronics. • Ability to perform system and subcomponent level testing. • Solid understanding of general physics; familiarity with nuclear, semiconductor, and radiation physics. • Working knowledge of computers including Linux and Windows. • Ability to operate oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal/function generators, multimeters, data acquisition cards, and bench top power supplies. • Solid written and oral communication skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering; Physics, Nuclear Physics, Electro-Optics or equivalent. • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
