PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Project Manager will manage the integration of community physicians/practices into Christiana Care. This role is responsible for all aspects of the project life-cycle through implementation/onboarding.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage multiple integration projects while monitoring and reporting status to leadership
Assemble team of colleagues to collaborate on integration; lead periodic meetings relating to integration process
Analyze financials and prepare appropriate budget for each integration
Carry out integration process protocol that will result in successful integration, on time and within budget
Identify tasks, assign resources, and manage project plans and checklists to successfully complete tasks to meet agreed upon deadlines. Clearly delineate task predecessors, critical path, and required resources to ensure smooth project progress.
Develop, maintain and revise work plans. Accurately track project financial commitments relative to budget, and manage projects to within approved guidelines. Prepare variance report for leadership addressing significant variances.
Serve as interface between internal and external stakeholders
Evaluate integration process and recommend improvements
Anticipate potential roadblocks and take proactive steps to resolve
Perform other related duties as required
Perform assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.
SCOPE, PURPOSE, AND FREQUENCY OF CONTACTS: Frequent contact with department leaders, clinicians, administrators and other Christiana Care functional areas (Human Resources, Finance, External Affairs, Facilities, etc.)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study PMP certification preferred but not required 3+ years' experience managing large, multifunctional projects Experience with healthcare operations; practice operations desired Experience working closely with physicians and senior leaders Proven experience in group facilitation, work process analysis, and change management Experience managing budgets and analyzing financial statements
