Serves the football program in the area of creative services producing video and motion content that consistently identify, drive and communicate information about players and the team on a variety of platforms, including but not limited to web & social media. Helps determine creative direction, plans, estimates and timetables for video projects. Present on field and in locker room on game days. Work nights, weekends, holidays, and non-traditional hours. Required to work quickly, efficiently, and with adaptability under strict deadlines. Responsible for projects from start to finish. Serves as a liaison for the football program with other areas of the department and the University. Ensures compliance with NCAA, Big Ten, and University policies and procedures. Performs other related duties as they relate to daily football operations. This position works in a creative and collaborative team environment where change is embraced and innovation is encouraged.
Bachelor’s degree in fine arts or design-related field; knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite products including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator required; 1-2 years of work experience and strong creative process of design principles; proven success designing responsive/adaptive design; proficient skills in digital and print design; ability to work on multiple tasks under time constraints effectively.
Knowledge of a collegiate athletics department and passion for sports; strong communication skills, creativity, and flexibility; working knowledge of After Effects and photography skills; experience with NCAA and Big Ten rules and policies; experience in a Division I football program.
Target Salary: $47,476.00 - $55,000.00 Annually
