Summary of Position: The State University of New York College at Cortland is accepting applications for a full time tenure track assistant professor position in the Department of Art and Art History.
Major Responsibilities: Teach at all levels of Graphic Design and related areas in the Graphic Design and Digital Media (GDM) curriculum. Successful candidate must present a professional portfolio and have experience teaching Graphic Design for print, and screen-based media.
Required Qualifications: MFA Graphic Design or closely related field. Active record of exhibition and/or professional experience in the graphic design industry. Evidence of ability to teach Graphic Design at the university level. Comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software, Mac platform, and HTML/CSS. Demonstrated effective skills in verbal and written communication and creative research. Ability to teach foundation courses in 2-D design.
