Role Summary: To support the Director, Special Projects and Analytics on key special projects and preparation of materials for consideration at various Operations committees.
Role Location: 20 Queen Street West, Toronto, ON
Assist in the evaluation of key special projects for consideration at various Operations committees and approval by the Executive Committee
Support the Director, Special Projects and Analytics in the evaluation of national leasing initiatives, including tenant renewals, workouts and restructuring of deals with existing tenants
Work with the Leasing Analysts in each portfolio to collaborate on leasing strategy and complete analysis on prospective and existing tenants
Prepare research reports and analysis on Operations related initiatives
Participate in the research, analysis and execution of strategic initiatives
Enrolled in Undergraduate degree in a related discipline (Real Estate, Urban Planning, Business)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling) and ARGUS valuation DCF software an asset
Solid grounding in financial concepts, corporate finance and valuation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a high level of attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure with multiple or competing deadlines
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to develop working relationships with both internal and external clients
Basic project management skills
