This position will be the main liaison with the John Purdue Club to coordinate their communication and digital marketing efforts as well as assisting with digital media aspects for our athletic department. Design, create and coordinate the development and production of multimedia projects including graphic arts, photography, videography, audio production, multimedia, motion graphics, or web design. Consult with clients on multimedia programs and audience needs. Ensure consistent branding and delivery of messages. Research and incorporate new software and technologies. May design communication and marketing materials including brochures, newsletters, advertisements, and other printed materials. The ideal candidate will have a background in creative/design skills and a history of writing and story-telling, both short and long form. All applicants must apply online at link provided.
Two years of experience coordinating marketing/communications campaigns or related experience.
Excellent oral & written communications and interpersonal skills.
Accountability and ability to meet established deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work evenings/weekends and maintain a flexible work schedule.
Valid US or Canadian Driver's license and ability to travel out of state.
Understanding of Associated Press writing style.
Background using a website/mobile app CMS.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud including, but not limited to, Photoshop and Premiere.
Knowledge of all NCAA and Big Ten Conference rules pertaining to broadcasting, media and publicity.
