Description: The Project Manager will join Emerson at an exciting time as we finish a large project to implement the Workday ERP system. When implementation finishes this July, this position will take over project planning for each major Workday release (twice a year). This is a director level position and part of the IT leadership team, that will at times give direction to AVPs, Directors, and other staff. The project manager will provide regular updates to the Executive Committee, Steering Committee, and at times the Board of Trustees. The Project Manager will be instrumental in establishing a PMO, working with the IT leadership team to define project intake and prioritization processes; establish best practices for project management and delivery; and drive adoption across the College.

Required Knowledge: Experience managing large, complicated projects with budget and consultant management Knowledge of and experience with multiple project management methodologies Ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment At least five years related work experience in information technology
Preferred/Desirable Knowledge: PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certification highly desired At least two years experience in higher education
