Weiss currently rates approximately 55,000 institutions and investments, including nearly all U.S. banks, credit unions, and insurance companies, plus all listed stocks, ETFs and mutual funds. Weiss Ratings has been recognized for its independence and accuracy by the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), the U.S. Senate, various state governments, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes and many others.
In early 2018, Weiss Ratings introduced the world's first cryptocurrency ratings and remains the only cryptocurrency rating agency in the world, providing ever expanding coverage for over 100 cryptocurrencies currently. Weiss Ratings is considered one of the leading research organizations in the crypto world. Typical descriptions in the media include: "the world's financial research and analysis giant Weiss Ratings;" "one of the more respected voices in the crypto-sphere, Weiss Ratings, one of the leading providers of impartial information regarding financial instruments." "Binance could be devastated by the opinion of Weiss Ratings as it is a prominent rating company recognized globally."

(b) investment newsletters and trading services, provided with rich editorial content, giving investors very specific guidance about what to buy or sell.
