Senior Business Analyst - Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Leading Financial Services Organisation seeks to engage an experienced Business Analyst / Consultant with a track record working on Identity Management or User Access projects.
Position Summary: The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Business Analyst is required to assist the build-out of our Identity & Access Management (IAM) function. The role will include looking at the 'as is' state, the 'to be' and the deployment of the end-to-end IAM solution.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has a keen eye for detail, a strong passion for learning and innovating, and a drive to stay up-to-date with current best practices. You will be working with business and technology stakeholders to scope IAM projects and establish delivery road-maps.
Our Business Analyst will have a strong understanding of agile principles and will help with the ongoing maturing of our delivery approach, as we seeks to adopt more scaled and enterprise wide practices.
Key responsibilities of the Business Analyst include:
Running requirements gathering workshops with key project and business stakeholders;
Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal clients and external vendors to analyse information needs and requirements;
Deliver project inceptions requirements and user stories;
Working independently with stakeholders to define concepts and collaborate with Solution Architects, Project Managers and Security Leads;
Interact professionally with a diverse group; executives, managers, and subject matters experts;
Effective communication, both written and oral, with both technical and business stakeholder teams based in various locations;
Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams;
To be a change agent and champion new ways of working across the business;
Ensure solutions are current and relevant by keeping abreast of developments and changes within IT and the IAM field.
Required experience for IAM Business Analyst:
Detailed knowledge of Identity & Access management (IAM) processes, Joiners Leavers Transfer (JLT), Role Base Access Control (RBAC), Recertification, Segregation of Duties and Authentication models;
Experience with current and future state analysis e.g. as-is and to-be processes;
Experience working on a deployment for IAM. Understanding of manual IAM working practices and transitioning to a strategic position;
Experience in IAM within financial services, covering applications and infrastructure;
Experience with documenting business and technical requirement;
Problem solving experience with an analytical mindset;
Strong experience of managing multiple small/medium sized projects;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Experience if creating structured documents to present to both technical and business teams;
Client facing experience.
