We're looking for a strong leader who knows a lot about park operations and maintenance, customer service, enforcement, and project management to lead a team of park rangers, maintenance and seasonal workers at Oxbow Regional Park, one of the region's most amazing parks. We're also looking for a passionate, progressive leader who is committed to helping Metro welcome and serve the diverse communities who enjoy visiting the wild and scenic Sandy River gorge.
The Park Operations Supervisor oversees and coordinates the work of the Park Operations staff and contractors working at Oxbow Regional Park, a nearly 1,000 acre nature park featuring a campground and year 'round recreational opportunities. In this role, you will be an important part of our commitment to offering safe, friendly destinations where all visitors feel welcome.

High School Diploma or GED and
Some specialized training and experience in building, facilities and grounds maintenance preferably in multiple public park settings and
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in building and grounds maintenance and
A minimum of one (1) year of lead or supervisory experience or
Current driver's license and driving record sufficient to be insured by Metro insurance carrier
Any combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the classification duties and responsibilities
Additional Requirements: Possession of, or the ability to obtain upon hire, and maintain a valid driver's license and First Aid/CPR Certification and obtain within two years a State of Oregon Water System Operator Grade 1 Certification and Filtration Endorsement and a State of Oregon Wastewater System Operator Grade 1 Certification.
