The role of the Senior eCommerce Project Manager is to strategically plan and lead eCommerce projects from inception through production release. This role will lead a cross-functional eCommerce team of Business Analysts, User Experience Analysts, Developers, Quality Assurance Analysts and eCommerce leaders to deliver high-quality functionality on our websites and system applications. Additionally, this role supports the Project Management Office (PMO) Leader in strategic roadmap planning, project methodologies, process improvements, tool selection and release planning.
Responsible for scheduling and leading project meetings, managing the execution of complex projects, updating schedules, aligning resources and leading project teams to deliver high quality functionality.
Work autonomously to drive projects forward, communicate project status, issues and risks in a concise, accurate and data driven manner.
Lead Sprint Planning Sessions, Sprint Retrospectives, Product Demos, Scrum Meetings and other associated Agile Scrum activities.
Collaborate with project sponsors, stakeholders, eCommerce leaders, organization leaders, business teams, technical teams and vendors to define and deliver large complex projects.
Anticipate project roadblocks, bottlenecks, responds to change, escalate issues when needed and balance business needs versus technical constraints.
Plan & strategically manage multiple parallel projects in coordination with other eCommerce Project Managers.
Proactively identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks.
Cultivate an environment where team members respect each other and work together to deliver high-quality functionality.
Provide timely project status updates to internal teams and PMO Leader.
Drive effective and efficient teamwork, communication and commitment across cross-functional teams with competing priorities.
Responsible for managing individual eCommerce project budgets.

Proven track record of success leading transformational projects at large scale companies.

5-7 years of large scale project management in eCommerce, IT or a related industry.
5+ years of leading cross-functional teams.
Experience working with B2B or B2C eCommerce and associated systems.
Strong experience working with 3rd party vendorsand contract resources.
Experience managing projectbudgets.
Strong grasp of current web technologies and related business issues.
Agile Scrum Certified
Experience with Agile Development software (JIRA, Confluence,Bamboo, Bitbucket and Zephyr).
