Under the direction of the Executive Director of Development (EDOD) ' School of Medicine, Development Analyst (Admin Officer 3) will provide high-level programmatic, analytical, and research support of fundraising administration for UC Davis Health, Health Sciences Development and Alumni Relations (HSDA). The Development Analyst monitors and analyzes program activity to determine donor and area fundraising strategy. Provides support to the EDOD in program development and activities. Works with a high degree of autonomy and exercises independent judgment on project management, multi-tasking to create solutions that positively impact organizational productivity.REQUIRED-Advanced experience in the fundraising profession and of contemporary issues and methods of fundraising.-Experience participating in major fundraising efforts, ideally a major comprehensive campaign, in a college, university, health system, non-profit organization, or other large complex institution.-Demonstrated level of professional experience to support senior-level executives.-Must be resourceful and diplomatic; highly organized with knowledge of priority-setting strategies.-Advanced project management skills, including skills to plan and implement successful events, strategic planning and evaluation skills.-Skill to recognize potential areas of consistency, concern and resolve and/or mitigate problems or issues. -Advanced written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, including skills to produce briefings and proposals; developing and delivering effective presentations; and creating reports and studies.-Advanced knowledge of practices and procedures associated with building and maintaining effective working relationships with all levels of internal and external constituencies. Political acumen skills are essential.-Experience planning ahead and anticipating the need for further action-Experience in programmatic and analytical support at the executive level-Advanced technical/computer skills to produce spreadsheets, reports, presentations, project calendars, correspondence and templates.-Computers software experience (Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).-Team building skills with the ability to establish on-going relationships.-Must be able to exercise discretion and independent judgment in decision making, having the ability to make independent choices and recommendations to management.PREFERRED-Advanced knowledge of UC Davis Health, campus; vision, mission, goals, objectives, achievements, issues of concern and infrastructure.-Office management experience.SPECIAL REQUIREMENT-Must have access to reliable transportation. -Occasional evening and weekend work.-THIS POSITION MAY BE SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION, DRUG SCREEN, LIVE SCAN FINGERPRINTING, MEDICAL EVALUATION CLEARANCE, AND FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY ASSESSMENT
