We are looking for a Project Coordinator with a focus on driving efficiency, bringing new ideas, and being part of a close-knit IT team that provides outstanding service to Dentistry’s patients, staff, faculty and students. The School of Dentistry IT Team is a productive, innovative and unique team that works closely with users to support clinical operations. We tap knowledge within our team, the School of Dentistry (SOD), the University, and elsewhere to bring forward smart/creative ideas and deliver strong solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to lead projects that have a direct impact on patient care, education, research, and operational excellence.

Implement projects that have a direct impact on patient care, teaching and learning, and operational excellence.
Lead projects related to School of Dentistry’s clinical information systems (e.g. EHR).
Coordinate and guide the design, development, testing and implementation activities for the entire project.
Assist in formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact finding. Document business processes and prepare business/technical requirements
Evaluate and follow through on issues and problems until resolved or escalated
Prepare communications and presentations on system enhancements
Partner with business units and developers to manage custom applications
Hiring starting salary range: $50,000 US/Dollars

All required qualifications must be documented on application materials.
A BA/BS degree in a field related to the position; or a combination of related education and experience in the project management field equal to four years.
Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp the project objective and deliverables
Desire/ability to interact with staff at all levels
Demonstrated excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
Demonstrated solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
The preferred candidate will:

Identify process/system gaps and imagine creative solutions
