SUMMARY We are working with a world leader in glass science and technology to identify the successful candidate to fill the role of Research & Quality Engineer. Our respected client offers a diverse portfolio of testing, analytical, consulting, and training services for manufacturers and fillers on a global level.
The Research & Quality Engineer will be responsible for providing private, customized testing and troubleshooting services to manufacturing companies, as well as, delivering educational seminars and training sessions to industry professionals.
All candidates will have a diverse background with experience across a range of multiple companies, facilities, and areas of production within packaging, filling, bottling, or glass manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have an inquisitive mind, love of trouble-shooting, and desire to share information and innovation.

POSITION The Research & Quality Engineer responsibilities include: • Communicating with clients to solve product related issues • On-site consulting / training for clients • Development of research and testing projects • Preform complex analysis and experiments • Analyze and determine results of testing / experiments • Prepare full technical reports • Implementation of project plans • Represent company at trade / science conferences • Participation in presentation of industry training seminars • Prepare and present lectures consistent with area of specialization • Create / publish industry white papers
REQUIREMENTS • Minimum B.S. in an engineering or related science field; Ceramics, Glass Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical, Industrial, etc. • 7+ years’ experience in packaging, filling, bottling, or glass manufacturing • Expert communication skills; both in person, written and digital devices • Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally 30% of the year • Must be permanently authorized to worked in the US; Citizens and Green Card holders only, sponsorship not available • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
