The Center for Survey Research is a research unit of the Office of the Vice Provost for Research providing state-of-the-art qualitative and quantitative services. We partner with academic clients from diverse substantive areas, including: business, public affairs, education, the social sciences, and the health sciences.
The Center for Survey Research (CSR) seeks two part-time field supervisors with field data collection experience for the Person-to-Person Health Research Position. This position assists the Study Director in all data collection and management activities for the Person-to-Person Health Research Study.
Primary Responsibilities include: assisting the study director in hiring, training and supervising field staff; monitoring production, conducting field audits, and assisting in the preparation of clean datasets for the research team.
REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in public health, biostatistics, survey methodology, health sciences, social sciences, or related field and three years of experience managing face-to-face interview/field work or clinical research projects.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation. Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information with a wide variety of individuals within a diverse environment. Strong organizational and multitasking skills including the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience with project management, supervising field staff, monitoring progress, producing reports, data processing, and data analysis.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Ability to travel to manage statewide field operations (possibly with some overnight stays), as needed.
