The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess, and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Commodities Division is a market leader in energy, metals, and agricultural product trading worldwide whose professionals trade in both physical and derivative commodity risk.
The Corporate Credit E-Trading group is seeking a highly talented and motivated desk strategist with 5+ years of experience. The successful candidate will help manage and drive our state-of-the-art algorithmic and portfolio trading strategies. This will involve managing large technology deliverables, regular interaction with sales and trading on both tactical enhancements and the strategic direction of the business. It will also involve direct contributions to our strategy in both modelling and code.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with a proven track record of managing large projects but also have excellent knowledge of the corporate credit business and impressive technical and analytical skills. The candidate will be a fast learner, able to adapt to our diverse technology stack as well as the fast changing market in which we operate.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Economics, IEOR, Statistics, or related discipline
Recent experience as a desk strategist, quant or technologist in Fixed Income electronic trading
Experienced idea generator, able to pitch ideas internally and externally
Experienced project and people manager, able to motivate and communicate
Excellent quantitative skills
Excellent programming skills in a major language with a strong desire to learn new techniques
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with a strong sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail
MFE or master's degree in Computer Science or other related discipline
Demonstrated experience with corporate credit trading
