Student Affairs Technology is the information technology unit within the Division of Student Affairs, responsible for the design, development, and implementation of systems and services that support the Division in operational effectiveness and enhancing the student experience. Reporting directly to the Director of Student Affairs Technology, the Health Systems Architect serves a lead role in designing and executing integrated technology solutions that support health, wellbeing, and student experience services for the Division.
This position is responsible for administering and executing the clinical and sensitive data application portfolio of the Division, including clinical health and electronic medical record systems, athletic medicine, accommodation management, wellbeing applications, and other assigned information systems. Primary activities include collaborating with staff and campus partners to gather business requirements and delivering solutions that support an optimal delivery of healthcare, wellbeing, and technology services. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of clinical systems, the communication protocols that facilitate integration between systems, and health-related workflows and processes. The successful candidate possesses the ability to work with units to develop business process and apply advanced technology solutions to support functional requirements.

Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for up to two years of the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Degree in computer science or related field.
Prior experience serving as a principle system administrator for electronic health record systems, pharmacy information systems, digital radiology, and/or laboratory information systems.
Prior experience delivering health technology solutions in a higher education environment.
Demonstrated experience with HL7 interfaces, PACS, DICOM, health information exchange, and other health technology protocols.
Working knowledge of cloud technologies and DevOps application management strategies and techniques.
Demonstrated experience with deployment automation tools and techniques.
Thorough working knowledge of enterprise email architectures and application support.
Working knowledge of lean/agile work management processes.
Understanding of AWS tools and frameworks.
Working knowledge of ITIL and ITSM.
Demonstrated experience with data networking TCP/IP concepts and how they relate to application delivery.
Additional Salary Information: Commensurate with experience
CSU Salary Range: $4,371 - $10,478 per month
(Anticipated Hiring Range: $5,417 - $6,667 per month)
