The Revenue Cycle Educator is responsible providing transactional training to all revenue cycle associates. Create and maintain educational and training programs for revenue cycle departments. Coordinate meetings with applicable departments to review training and educational needs and process. Report all training/educational needs/issues to revenue cycle director and system directors. Provide revenue cycle orientation process for new associates.
This professional must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision reviewing. Must be able to critically think, develop and implement associate development plans for all educational/training purposes.

Develop and maintain standard training process that measures true associate performance and skill levels in major job responsibilities, identifies strengths and weakness, opportunities for improvements, and for all new hires and current associates,
Create, maintain an up to date education curriculum that fosters a culture of continuous improvement for all Revenue Cycle Departments Actively research and present new training methods and educational needs that will continue to improve upon the revenue cycle process in High Performance Work Team, departments, and overall Revenue Cycle Department on a quarterly basis.
Responsible for testing new and current associate's competency level in respective revenue cycle positions. Set up testing times and dates, administering test and assisting participants with questions and issues. Provide training that engages associates in a variety of methods, including visual & auditory classroom training, in the field training, web-based training, external seminars, etc.
Responsible for providing organizational development to the revenue cycle. Create and implement career paths for employees, tracking of mentoring/mentee relationships, and design programs to effectively build leaders throughout the revenue cycle.
Coordinate the revenue cycle hiring process including the behavior interviewing process. Track and trend opportunities for improvement.
Provides pro-active feedback to associates concerning training needs and follow up with managers/directors on all training, educational needs in department in a timely manner.
Regularly schedule workshops, maintaining minutes, orienting new members, and submitting reports to Scheduling/ Patient Access Manager and Shared Services Director; including assisting in 90-day probationary period training needs.
Proactively research opportunities for quality improvement for revenue cycle related functions.
Attend and participates in team briefings, identify Issues, Problems, and Opportunities (IPOs). Communicate IPOs and process improvement plans to Scheduling/ Patient Access Manager and Shared Services Director.
Effectively meets customer needs, builds productive customer relationships, and takes responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in patient financial services, admitting, health information management, or medical office or hospital business office preferred. Educational and training experience preferred.
