The aim of the role is to buildalignment between the client's and Investor Services' (IS) technology to ensurethat all technology deliverables and new business onboarding are managedsuccessfully. The role traverses the following:
- Oversightof the technology onboarding for a complex client relationship - this includesthe following business Products: Custody, Fund Accounting, Securities Lending,Collateral Management, Trust & Fiduciary and Middle Office Services. - Managementof the Instruction Capture across business products for a complex clientonboarding, ensuring that this is in accordance with the strategic direction. - Managementof the Data Delivery across business Products in accordance with client requirementsand with strategic programs of work. - Managingtesting of instruction capture and reporting with the client. - Settingup connectivity and testing the same with the client and their associatedparties. - Engagementin the client testing requirements and ensuring that technology can deliveragainst these.
The Client Technology Management(CTM) group is focused on providing dedicated, client technology guidance andsupport as part of the end-to-end sales cycle; from pre-sales to due diligence,through to client on-boarding and on-going client support. CTM worksclosely with our Sales and Risk Management, Client Services, Operations,Product and Risk Management teams to ensure that the technical components ofour clients are understood and executed flawlessly across IS.
The specific responsibilities forthis opening are: i) Onboarding of complex clientrelationships Thesetypically involve Middle Office clients who have numerous complex reportingdeliverables. Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for theend-to-end ownership of technology for new complex client onboarding. Thiscovers project delivery, client connectivity, interfacing and consulting togather and deliver against the client requirements whilst maintainingcomplicity with the Investor Services Strategic technology agenda. Responsibilities include consolidating all in-flight technology activity anddeliverables into a cohesive standard senior management update for seniorTechnology and Application Development leads.
In addition, the candidate will berequired to take responsibility for the following on an adhoc/needs basis:
i)Onboarding of BAU client relationships Theseare typically more standard client onboarding projects which fit with our more'vanilla' technology offerings. The candidate would be required to scope theclient technology requirements and deliver the connectivity solutions. Wherebespoke client requirements warrant technology builds, the candidate would berequired to raise the client requirements to the correct Product Development /Application Development team and ensure that they are delivered. ii)BAU CTM Client Change Management -Provide guidance to our internal client base (Product, Client Service,Relationship Management and Operations) regarding the appropriate means forsubmitting change requests. The majority of the change requests are toimplement new interfacing channels via sFTP. CTM manage these via JPMorgan'sGTI FTS utility. Change Management also includes requests for SWIFT testing forexternal clients, either implementing new solutions client side, introducingautomation for manual processes or as part of an onboarding activity. CTMresources will own the test planning , oversight and ensure timely completionof providing client feedback re formatting and obtain operational sign offprior to Go Live.
The candidate will be working in ateam environment where flexibility and creativity are key. Our clients areconstantly pushing the boundaries with their technology requirements. Based onclient experience and interaction, the candidate will be expected to identifytechnology areas for improvement, to help improve client delivery and helpdrive these through with senior technology management.
The successful candidate will beexpected to demonstrate an aptitude in the sales arena and from time to timeparticipate in Sales meetings with prospective clients and represent IS Technology.
Knowledge of CFS Technology systems and applications
Good working knowledge of the business processes surround Custody and Fund Services
Working knowledge of CFS technology architecture and roadmap would be an advantage
