PROGRAM COORDINATOR, SHORT PROGRAMS , MIT Professional Education (PE) , to collaborate with colleagues, program directors, staff, faculty, and vendors in the delivery of world-class professional education programs to companies and individuals. Will plan and organize logistics and operations for Short Programs and other PE programs. Duties include serving as key contact for stakeholders; organizing, executing, or supervising all program delivery logistics; collecting program information/materials and assuring their timely publishing and distribution; developing and managing budgets; negotiating contracts with vendors for a wide array of services; handling applications and coordinating enrollee admissions; conducting and collating participant survey results; generating reports; evaluating, recommending, and implementing future program operational changes/enhancements; participating on cross-functional project teams; and providing support to other programs as needed.

REQUIRED : B.A/B.S.; three years' business experience, preferably in a corporate customer service setting and project management field; willingness to learn; attention to detail; excellent financial, organizational, customer service, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication and presentation skills; discretion with confidential/sensitive matters; in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce), cloud-based programs (e.g., Concur, SAP, Quip, Asana), and other project management tools; knowledge of budget forecasting and developing and tracking financial reports; team orientation; self-motivation; and flexibility. Must be able to work effectively in a pressured, fast-moving environment; interact effectively with faculty, staff, and participants; prioritize and track multiple projects and schedules simultaneously; work with minimal supervision; and assess information, resolve problems, and determine when senior staff need involvement.
