The Washington, DC office of Finnegan, one of the world’s leading and largest intellectual property law firms, is seeking a CRM and eMarketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing department. This position will develop and support the firm’s CRM and eMarketing strategies, ensuring the accuracy of strategic business data, system reporting capabilities, and effective delivery of firm content.
Work with chief marketing officer and marketing communications manager to develop comprehensive CRM and eMarketing strategies.
Coordinate distribution of all eMarketing communications, maintain mailing lists, and coordinate relevant marcomm reporting.
Day-to-day oversight of the firm’s Client Relationship Management (CRM) system. Manage the intricate processes, procedures, and best practices to ensure the optimal functionality and data integrity of the systems. Serve as a technical resource/point person for troubleshooting issues and developing solutions for the CRM system.
Maintain and produce reports for firm practice leads, management, and others supporting the firm’s business development (BD) function.
Serve as lead contact and firm project manager for new updates and initiatives related to CRM and eMarketing, including but not limited to InterAction, SalesForce, and Vuture. Play an integral role in the renewal of contracts with vendors, providing input on new products, tools, upgrades, etc.
Provide assistance on firm-wide marketing projects as needed and appropriate.
Successful candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and 4-5 years professional experience, 2-3 years working directly with a CRM system, preferably LexisNexis InterAction, to include records maintenance, data harvesting, and report generation, experience with email marketing preferred; experience leading firm-wide projects and implementation of marketing-related initiatives; excellent written communication and editorial skills; working knowledge of HTML; strong understanding and interest in working with various technologies; experience with Windows-based word processing, database programs, and spreadsheets; strong organizational, project management and proofreading skills as well as the ability to be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet frequent deadlines is required.
