Summary: The Epic TechnicalManager leads the design, implementation and support of the technicalarchitecture for the Epic environment. Provides leadership to the EpicTechnical Team including, but not limited to, strategic technical guidance,project management, personnel management and optimization for the Epicsolution. Coordinates production and non-production hardware and softwaresupport for the Epic infrastructure including servers, network, storage,backup, operating systems, virtualization platforms, and desktop devices.Oversees Epic security administration, disaster recovery planning andimplementation requirements for the Epic infrastructure. Partners with the Epicand Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure efficient functionality andperformance.
Bachelor's degree required.
3 years of experience in a supervisory or management levelrole; ability to demonstrate strong leadership within matrix teams.
Expert knowledge of healthcare industry. Minimumof 2 years of experience in a Health Care environment preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in information technologyrequired.
Expert knowledge of networks, virtual desktop, serveroperating systems, EMC SAN storage technologies, VMWare Server Virtualization,and overall infrastructure design and architecture.
Prior experience implementing Epic Systems preferred. Overviewof Implementation. Technical Overview of Implementation.
Experience with security administration and securityprovisioning.
Proven track record of successfully delivering projectson-time and on-budget.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:
Epic certification required ECSA or Epic Security, within 6months of employment including 2 test re-takes.
