The Chicago office is seeking a Firmwide CLE Training Delivery Assistant to provide general administrative support to the Legal Recruiting & Development department. This person will be responsible for support of attorney CLE with a focus on administrative functions.
Assistance with attorney training coordination for programs such as KITA, Kirkland University, Deposition Training, Writing Advocacy, Local training, or any or as needed programming
Coordination of training for Summer Associates such as: Summer KITA, Corporate, and Restructuring training, etc.
Assistance with the coordination of department meetings and development programs (requires lunch hour and evening overtime), ideal candidate can be flexible when working and staying off site
Communicate and collaborate with other offices on scheduling, handouts, logistical and technical meeting support
Lateral hire onboarding support
Maintenance of Attorney Training Inbox
Ongoing administrative support of all CLE needs such as (but not limited to):
Supporting CLE deadlines and activities
CLE communication Firmwide
Additional Role Functions:
The Firmwide CLE Training Delivery Assistant will also need to demonstrate skills throughout the participation of firm, team, and other intangibles to be continue to be successful.Examples below are inclusive, but not collectively exhaustive:

Working with, identifying, developing, leading and managing key external vendor relationships as necessary
Building and fostering working relationships with business partners across our global firm
Transition plan/backfill management for team and self during time off, LOA, etc.
Team project management
This position requires a high level of collaboration with attorneys and staff and the ability to work independently. This position requires the exercise of independent judgment.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent proofing and communication (oral and written) skills; the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; a very strong attention to detail; and a professional demeanor. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships among lawyers and staff to achieve results.
A Bachelor’s degree is required. Technical experience should include MS Word and Excel.
