The Systems and Solutions Business (SSB) Operations Manager is responsible for the overall supervision of several facilities within the Central and Southern regions of North America. This leadership role is responsible for managing the site leadership for each facility and will have oversight for safety, quality, customer satisfaction, manufacturing forecasting, continuous improvement and other business objectives.
In addition, the Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and leading the regional execution of a business strategy partnering with sales, engineering, proposal leads, project management, administrative personnel and industries application centers to drive improvement in employee satisfaction, customer facing metrics and manufacturing cost structures.
Plan and execute manufacturing-related activities which may include materials, production, estimating, manufacturing engineering, logistics, compliance, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Delivering quality objectives in accordance with Rockwell Automation, ISO, and customer-specific workmanship practices and analyzing quality issues in order to come up with an action plan to continuously improve quality.
Applying policies and procedures related to performance management, business ethics, and Environmental Health and Safety, along with setting all the day-to-day priorities.
Establish & monitor performance for customer satisfaction (OTTP).
Providing leadership for training, coaching, and the development of all team members while ensuring the team is following all policies, processes, and procedures as well as making recommendations for continuous process improvements.
Management of the department expense budgets and forecasts in accordance with organizational goals and objectives.
Drive Operations Excellence performance improvements in a Matrix organization to improve profitability
Participation in development of the strategic plan for the Process and Power and Control businesses
Directly or indirectly support annual revenue of more than US$200mm
Develop and implement of short- and long- term facility plans
