The People team will be breaking down the internal functional walls building agile teams who will be responsible for key, prioritized projects to drive value to the business and respond to critical business needs. Like a consulting group, they will tackle problems breaking down ambiguous, unstructured problems and working with the People function and our business leaders to come to creative, innovation solutions. The Agile methodology will push teams to speed, engage the capabilities of the whole team and put people first in all they do.
The team will create and execute strategies to meet business needs. The team will analyze challenges, prioritize issues, collect and analyze data, and develop and implement innovative solutions. Problems will be sourced from business strategy and issues across all areas in HR including, but not limited to, Talent Management, Culture, Organizational Effectiveness, Total Rewards, Analytics and M&A.
The Location: New York, NY, Charlottesville, VA, or other S&P Global offices
Accountabilities: The People Project Lead will drive to deliver the vision and project. They will be responsible for the execution of key priorities and for managing the team day-to-day.
[Problem solving]: Break a problem into its small, modular pieces to develop a methodical approach to solution.
Can structure complex challenges, determine how to break down individual problems
Allocate to individual team members
Create and drive innovation solutions
[Project Management]: Build and execute a project plan including: project timeline, interdependencies, key owners and stakeholders.
Responsible for daily execution of the project
Ensure the team is delivering to deadline
Directing, coaching and guiding team members
Highlight risks to timeline and budget
[Communication]: Strong written and verbal communication including storytelling and slide writing.
Actively listen to understand the client and end user needs
Can clearly communicate solutions to business leaders leveraging verbal and written skills
Can concisely present information and data
Owns regular communication with key stakeholders and team members

Skills and Knowledge:
At least 8+ years' relevant work experience
Analytical and reporting capabilities (Microsoft Office Suite: Excel and PowerPoint)
Familiarity navigating HR Data systems (Workday, PeopleFluent, Visier)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail
Time management and organizational skills
