DATA SYSTEMS SPECIALIST , Office of Digital Learning (ODL) , to join a group whose mission is to transform teaching and learning at MIT and around the globe through the innovative use of digital technologies. Will retrofit existing course content with new technical enhancements; run tools to detect broken web links and manage their resolution; assist the team in building technically challenging aspects of course content and with efficient high-volume preproduction content processing such as converting formats and batch-processing files for accessibility; provide final quality assurance checks on course content to ensure that it meets evolving publication standards, including accessibility and mobile-friendliness; provide day-to-day technical support for the OCW (OpenCourseWare) course publication team; and help test new site features.
This is a temporary, one-year position renewable on an annual basis.
