University Information Technology Services, within the University of Arizona, Student and Academic Technologies is soliciting applications for the position of Communications Specialist to support the implementation of a new customer relationship management solution for campus.
The Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications program to inform and engage project stakeholders and the campus community about the enterprise-wide Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for UA. This is a dual report position to the Director, Communications and Marketing and Executive Director, Student and Academic Technologies to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely messaging for CRM project.

Duties & Responsibilities
•Develops and implements a strategic and comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to support the CRM project implementation for campus, working closely with CRM project team members and the UITS Communications and Marketing team. •Creates strong and impactful communication products and vehicles for CRM project awareness with key campus audiences. •Utilizes research methodology or approaches to develop marketing campaigns that address the following components: Research, Goals, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, and Evaluation. •Produces effective and compelling content for a variety of platforms (web, digital, and print) to produce outcomes that are engaging, memorable, and that effect engagement and behavior change. •Works closely with Project Managers, Change Management Lead, and Training Specialists to develop effective communications that reflect change management and end-user training best practices. •Develop regular updates for stakeholders to communicate project performance, progress, and success; as well as project adjustments, changes, and potential issues that could impede progress. •Develops, publishes, and maintains content within various communication channels that include executive-level presentations, webpages, email, blogs, and newsletters. •Translates technical subject matter into actionable terms for a general audience. •Promotes CRM project events, including super user trainings, focus groups, campus open forum, listening sessions, and other project-related events.
Bachelor’s degree required – Communications, Business Administration, Journalism, MIS or Marketing and three to five years of experience in strategic communications, marketing, or other corporate experience. OR, any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.
