The Data Analyst/Report Writer is responsible for compiling, analyzing, and reporting on key business metrics that drive decision making for optimizing our Workday environment. In this role the Data Analyst will demonstrate and understanding of the nuances in the process of data analysis while effectively relaying those to operational, HR and Financial partners to help drive business outcomes.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, collect, and analyze multiple levels of Organizational data
Develop and deliver Workday reports and dashboards using Workday's report writing tools
Provide break/fix and enhancement support for Workday reports
Learn the business and innovate by designing new processes
Assess and maintain data and process integrity
Create and maintain related calculated fields for reporting; communicate calculated fields needs across areas to avoid redundancy and achieve efficiency
EDUCATION ANDEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of experience of report writing and/or data analytics; preferably in HR or Finance
Bachelor's degree required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Workday experience preferred, but not required
Experience working with business objects is preferred, but not required
Possess the ability to collect requirements and translate them into consumable material for our team and business partners
Technical aptitude with strong logic, problem solving skills
Has the ability to critical think and anticipate the needs of our business partners base
Driven and results oriented, with strong business acumen, presentation skills and quantitative analytical abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document and report preparation.
