In fulfillment of this mission, UC Online invites candidates to the position of Instructional Technologist I.
This position reports to the Director of Online Instruction and is responsible for providing course building support for new and current online courses to faculty and ensuring instructional materials are consistent with sound instructional course-building principles and standards. While coordinating the collection of course materials (such as lectures, text, graphics, animation, audio/video etc.) the Instructional Technologist will create, layout, and embed these course objects for online course websites. This position will review online content for accuracy and logical flow, and keep current with accessibility and compatibility issues as well as emerging technologies for online learning materials and management systems.

Bachelor's degree -OR- equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience must include demonstrated technology skills and ability such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) management, digital audio and video production, web programming, web layout, and cloud storage management.
This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
