The Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance is responsible for maintaining institutional compliance with NCAA, Conference and university rules, and is responsible for reporting any violations of those rules on behalf of the institution. In addition, the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance will assist in the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive athletics compliance program including development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable NCAA, Conference and university rules, and regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization.
Six (6) years of related experience
Able to manage multiple tasks or projects at one time
Excellent at managing, mentoring and motivating reporting employees
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, technology, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. JumpForward, LSDBi (RSRO, BANNER, Sharepoint, Compliance Assistant)
Strong Attention to detail and strong organizational and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills
