The Environmental & Occupational Medicine & Epidemiology (EOME) Program in the Department of Environmental Health has an opening for a Program Coordinator for the Occupational Medicine Residency Program. The Program Coordinator provides support to the Program Director of the Occupational Medicine Residency Program, serves as the Residency Coordinator for the Program and acts as a liaison within the University and to outside institutions.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Coordinates administrative and program activities. Serves as principal source of information to students, staff, and faculty on policies and procedures of the Occupational Medicine Residency Program
Maintains databases with resident and faculty data
Manages the evaluative processes of the trainees, program, faculty, and rotations
Helps plan annual events including recruitment, orientation
Schedules and organizes meetings and prepares and distributes materials for conferences and lectures
Develops program brochures and assists with reports
Coordinates medical student rotations
Maintains and updates the Occupational Medicine Program website
Assists the program director in accreditation efforts, educational programming, and licensing of residents
Assists with the admissions process, coordination of interviews, and communications with applicants
Coordinates materials for resident appointments and assists with visas when necessary
Maintain necessary records/files on program and fellows
Perform other duties as assigned
PLEASE NOTE: This position has a term appointment of 2 years from date of hire, with the possibility of extension.

3+ years of related experience required; a combination of education and experience may be considered
Bachelor's Degree preferred
3-5 years of education and/or administrative experience, in a healthcare and/or education setting preferred
Experience with medical/surgical or other residency training programs, ACGME accreditation/ACGME self-study is preferred
Experience with MS platforms, including Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel preferred
Experience with, or willingness to learn WordPress/webpage building platforms preferred
Strong attention to detail; strong communication skills and works well in a team preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills preferred
Experience organizing information electronically/digitally preferred
Experience handling sensitive information with absolute confidentiality and discretion preferred
