The ProjectManager is part of the Marketing Solutions team under the Division ofCommunications. The individual in this role is responsible for short andlong-term project planning, day-to-day trafficking of projects, ensuring thatprojects fall within the established messaging framework for the university,and cultivating client relationships. This person will work with others acrossthe division to develop campaigns and work with the team to put them intoaction. Deliverables are primarily print-based, but also include digital,social and other types of media. This individual will provide input and feedbackon processes, logistics, and new systems as they are implemented.

KeyFunctions and Expected Performance:
Handleintake of design projects for Marketing Solutions team
Field incoming project requests and establish and facilitate work start meetingsas appropriate
Serve as initial point of contact for incoming projects, seek out missing information and materials
Organize materials to pass along to the creative team for design
Clarify instructions from clients to insure key design points are communicated clearly
Establish production schedules and communicate those with appropriate areas
Maintain records in database for reporting purposes
Act as a liaison between Marketing Solutions and clients through out the university
Secure price quotes and communicate details to clients
Assistwith project presentation and production
Present and distribute proofs to and from clients
Communicate project revisions with clients with appropriate editors and designers
Obtain and communicate revised quotes
Preparefinal files for printing services
Finalize print quantities and instructions for print production and delivery
Generate spec sheets and collect packaged files for printing services for print production
Pass along final files for printing, follow up on printer's proofs
Assist with process improvements
Provide feedback on and provideinput on the development of new workflow models to improve effectiveness.
Assist with the implementation of a new project management system.
Assist with data analytics to evaluate efficiency and provide reports.
This position does not have supervisory responsibility. This position reports administratively and functionally to the Production Manager.
▪ Bachelor's Degree is necessary.
▪ 2-3 years of experience in a deadline-driven environment is necessary.
▪ Ad agency or traffic management background preferred
▪ Attention to detail is necessary.

▪ Ability to articulate concepts and policies clearly is necessary.
▪ Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary.
▪ Understanding of creative and print production processes are preferred.
▪ Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, In Design, and Illustrator are preferred.
